Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

Modern Man Alchemy is run by Shane Hamilton in Melbourne, Australia. This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain English on purpose.

Who we are

Modern Man Alchemy, ABN [your ABN], of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. You can reach us any time at [your email].

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us:

This site has no accounts, no logins and no shopping cart. We do not collect payment details through this website.

Why we collect it

We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of third-party services to run the business. When you give us your details, those details pass through these services:

Kit and Calendly are based in the United States, so if you use either of those, your information is stored overseas. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.

Emails and unsubscribing

If you join the list, you will get the ebook, then a short series of emails from Shane, then occasional messages about the work. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, it works immediately, and you never need to give a reason. You can also just reply and ask to be taken off.

Coaching client confidentiality

What you share in a coaching session, a breakthrough, a men's circle or a retreat is treated as confidential and is kept separate from anything on this website. It is not added to the mailing list, not used in marketing, and not shared, unless you have given clear permission, or unless we are required by law to disclose it or there is a serious risk to someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep mailing list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep booking and enquiry records for as long as needed to run the business and meet our record-keeping obligations, then remove them.

Seeing, changing or deleting your information

Email [your email] and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will action reasonable requests promptly and at no cost.

Cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies and does not run advertising trackers. Some of the third-party services above may set their own cookies when you interact with them.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, email us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are not satisfied, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
